Integration Station

Welcome to the Integration Portal! This is a place for you to find community, resources and tools that can help navigate your process of integration. Every ceremony has the potential to unpack stories we have gathered throughout our life and the generations before us, as well as call in and make space for new versions of us to be created!

Sometimes we leave ceremony feeling good about the space we have made, the stories we uncover, and the reconnection to body or self. Other times we leave feeling raw and maybe a little confused on how to organize and manage what we unpacked. The ceremony can be many things often it is just the beginning of a new healing path. My hope is that this portal can deliver you the tools you need to continue down your path of homecoming to the spirit, the heart, and self.

Self-Care

  • Writing is great way to work with our emotions, feelings, and inner voice. Free writing is a wonderful practice that I highly encourage. Setting a timer for a few mins and letting your pen fall to paper as whatever wants to come out is released. Having some direction can also be very helpful, below are some journal Prompts if you need help getting started.

    Directly after ceremony-

-Did your journey provide new insights or perspectives? How do you feel about these insights now?

-Explore any recurring themes or patterns that emerged during the ceremony. Did you notice certain thoughts, emotions, or memories resurfacing? How do you perceive the significance of these themes in your life and journey of self-discovery?

Reflect on the sensations and emotions you experienced during the journey? What were the most intense moments for you, and how did your body and mind respond?

    Body Tracking

Logging and tracking Our Bodies can be a helpful tool for cultivating awareness and mindfulness. I always think it is important to remember we have multiple bodies! Our Mindbody, Emotional Body, Energetic Body, and Physical body. They are linked together and directly can affect one and other. Download the body Tracking Pdfs to start tracking today!

Below are some mindfulness practices to help zone in your delf awareness tools!

-Begin your journaling session by taking a few deep breaths and grounding yourself in the present moment. Describe your current physical sensations, thoughts, and emotions.

-Choose an everyday activity (e.g., eating, walking, washing dishes) and practice mindfulness while in it. Pay attention to the sensations, smells, sounds, and feelings that come along with this activity. Write about your experience and any sights gained from the practice.

-I always suggest that you end your journaling session with a gratitude practice. No matter what comes for you along the way.

Write down three things you are grateful for today, no matter how big or small. This Gratitude mindset is a frequency changer. Take 3 breaths for each thing your grateful for, this is a great way to bring that gratitude into the body.

  • As someone who personally is just beginning to find er way back to a committed movement practice, i know this can be challenging for some of us.

But moving our bodies is the number one tool to help move emotions, energy, and experiences through and possibly even out of the body. Movement can look like a jog, working out, a yoga class tai chi, and all the amazing wellness things that come to mind.

How ever I want to take a moment to come back home to the belief that our body knows best, so don’t be afraid to bring in intuitional movement and flow. Letting breath led the body taking the movements slow is a safe way to drop into the body and start digesting energy. This can also look like putting on your favorite song and dancing or shaking it out, let your body talk to you!

  • Wellness is a big word! In this case we are referring to the nourishment and restoration. This a huge part of integration and self-care. It used to be something i had a hard tie with, nut now I find myself making more and more time for this aspect of self-love and care. I wanted to take some space up here, to let you in on my favorite activity for me!

Spa time! Thats right I said it, and if you can’t make it to the spa make one at home! Pro tip, if you don’t have a bath, you can turn the bath recipes into facial steams.

Massages, baths, tea ceremonies, or cuddling up with a book, playing music (if that’s your jam), painting or arts of any sort. These are all great way for me to rest and restore. I like to think of nurturing not just my body, but my heart, creativity, and energy levels.

Herbal bath: detox & purify body & spirit: Open your water portal

The very first thing I do, when I am getting ready to draw, my bathwater, is make sure I have a small heater plugged in and on high. This is not for everybody you do not need this extra element of heat for the detox bath, the ginger, the salt, the baking soda, and clay. All of these are detoxing elements and plants and will do plenty of a good job on their own. That being said, I like to turn these baths into a portal into my inner world in the universe that lies within there for me. He is a huge part of the transformation, so I like to activate that element by turning my bathroom into a sauna.

    2. While the bath is beginning to fill up and the heat, beginning to come in, I like my candles, or turn on my mood lighting. At this time, I say a prayer to the sun into the element of fire and ask for its help to transform anything that comes up physically or energetically. Next, I turn off the lights and tap into my breath when I can source energy running through my body, one by one light my smudges and say a prayer calling to the spirit and the friends that live within each earth asking for their assistance in alignment with the gifts they offer I encourage you to find your own prayers for this Appling medicines to your life

    3. Usually by this point it is a perfect time for me to strain and add my herbs from the stove of course timing and paying attention to all the things but If you are focused fully while prepping the herbs in the bath, it usually works out perfectly. So you can strain your rosemary and ginger water and then add it to the bath. (I do not like having to clean out the bath afterward with flowers and herbs in it, so I always strain my water) At this time you can also add the Epson salt if you have not already and the baking soda and the clay if you’re preferring to.

    4. now it is time for you to enter the bath. I usually put both my feet in and before sitting down, I address the water I send a prayer to the water for its healing and I honor and send many thanks for the way that it carries life no matter what burdens we place on it, I pray to the water in my body and I asked that it open. I pray to the herbs that are in the bath and I let them know that my body my mind and my spirit are open to their medicine.
